I am so happy you're here! My name is Cindy and I look forward to sharing my work with you. The writing world is all new to me so perhaps we can do this together.

About nine years ago, I began the adventure which would becoming the Cressida Trilogy. Late at night, while unable to sleep, I would escape into a world that, eventually, was Larkin's Hollow. The characters became imaginary friends with lives of their own. Months later, I realized these characters needed to actually live somewhere other than just in my mind. And, so, I began writing their story down.

You could find me writing in all sorts of places: in the park, in the car when I was waiting to pick my son up from his first job, or simply late at night in the living room. I discovered how fun it is to escape into another world that is unfolding under a keyboard. What only existed in my mind up until then had a life of its own. The story was becoming real.

Flash forward nine years and we are on the precipice of seeing this world officially exist in the real world. There were so many hurdles to overcome and steps to go through along the way but it has proven to be one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done.

I hope you will join me as I let you in on some of the things I've learned in this process. Maybe we can do some writing exercises, if that sounds fun. Please let me know what kind of stuff you'd like to see here and I'll do my best to oblige!
